Your mission

The Application Development Manager is part of our US-based Technology team. This role will focus on management of an application development team but must be comfortable assuming an active technical role as needed. Reporting to the Director of Information Systems, the Application Development manager will work closely with other members of the Technology team including IT, and Business Intelligence as well as interact with business leaders within the company. Individuals must be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship.


Key responsibilities

• Manage an application development team in the execution of projects, support and maintenance functions centered on a JDE EnterpriseOne 9.2 ERP and its supporting applications. • Apply SDLC best practices to ensure that the team is productive and healthy. • Interface with product owners and business stakeholders in the development and maintenance of the backlog, negotiation of priorities, and development of project requirements and plans. • Approves the promotion of code changes into production. • Provides technical leadership and mentoring to development staff. Develops staff training plans. • Provide insights • Evaluates existing applications to determine technical changes, schedule projects, resources, and manage project timeliness. • Additional duties as assigned.


Your profile

• 7-10 years experience in IS field with progressive leadership roles. • Minimum 5 years experience in IS management role. • Deep knowledge/experience working ERP software (Oracle EnterpriseOne, preferably ver. 9.2), and associated systems in a consumer products company: Salesforce, Magento, Customer Data. • Prior experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment highly preferred. • Facility in creating technology standards, tools, platforms, and processes in support of the overall IS application strategy. • Expertise with technologies relating to a consumer products environment with wholesale, e-etail, ecommerce channels. • Experience integrating ERP with other SaaS platforms, Robotics Processing Automation (RPA), low- and no-code toolsets (e.g. MS Power Platform) desired. • BS in Computer Science or equivalent is required, MS in Computer Science or equivalent is highly desired.
