Your mission

Dorel Industries Juvenile Division is seeking to add to our eCommerce Team as part of our Consumer Engagement group located in Foxboro, MA. This is a catalyst role responsible for driving growth and profit across our D2C channels and online marketplaces (including Amazon.com, Walmart.com, and Target.com). The eCommerce SEO & Content Specialist will have a passion for SEO and digital content creation. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with strong creativity in balance with their technical know-how and analytical bias toward action. Strong knowledge of general and technical SEO required to create and maintain a seamless online customer experience. We are looking for an experienced eCommerce SEO & Content Specialist who has a proven ability to develop and implement a content strategy focused on driving increases in organic traffic and sales, as well as improvements in key on-site engagement metrics. This role will partner closely with several cross-functional teams (eCommerce, IT, Consumer Care, Marketing, and Graphics) to strategize, develop, execute, and optimize all content & SEO needs for our top brands. Ultimately, the eCommerce SEO & Content Specialist will be responsible for Dorel Juvenile’s SEO strategy on owned D2C brand websites and across top eTailer.com websites. Candidates must be comfortable juggling multiple priorities and possess strong communication and interpersonal skills. Successful individuals will possess a proven track record of leading change, anticipating challenges, and providing solutions that add value. This position will report directly to the Sr. Manager of eCommerce in Foxboro, MA.


Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategies for implementing page level recommendations at scale (content optimizations/development, URLs, redirects, sire structure, linking practices, etc.) across Dorel Juvenile’s priority eCommerce channels. • Regularly perform detailed keyword research, including discovery and expansion of keyword opportunities. • Identify and resolve technical and content-related SEO issues. • Regularly monitor SEO/content specific success metrics, and analyze results leveraging third party tools and internal data sources. • Partner with eCommerce, brand marketing, and graphic designers to build SEO rich landing pages that improve visibility on search engines to drive increased organic traffic on-site. • Research competitive data to understand current industry trends and develop best practices for eCommerce content as it pertains to site merchandising and the online user experience. Assists in driving employee adoption of these findings as it relates to processes for content creation and new technology. • Work closely with internal PIM (product information management) system, Salsify. Partner closely with product managers/brand marketers to ensure all product content is accurate and optimized for SEO. • Act as the subject matter expert for SEO across the company by staying up to date with the latest SEO trends and methodologies and proactively sharing ideas and recommendations. • Communicate SEO program performance and drive leadership buy-in for SEO vision.


Your profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required • Minimum 2-5 years of proven SEO experience • D2C eCommerce experience preferred • Experience with keyword research, troubleshooting and resolving technical SEO issues • Current working knowledge of trends in the SEO industry, organic search algorithms, and ranking factors required • Experience with SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Webmaster tools, MOZ, and BrightEdge • Intermediate to advanced level excel skills, comfortable manipulating large volumes of data and providing recommendations • Experience with SQL, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript languages preferred • Must be detail oriented with a bias towards action (self-starter) and comfortable working with ambiguity • Excellent written and oral communication skills are required • Must have a track record of prioritizing and successfully delivering multiple initiatives on-time
